Lust: The Saab 900 Convertible

I am not a convertible guy.  I am a huge fan of conditioned air, but as with almost everything, there are exceptions.  You’ve seen me post about Jeeps, Defenders, and other soft top utility vehicles, all of which I would happily house in my garage.  As for the soft top car option, I have always been big on the Saab 900.  Whether it’s the unique, tropical fish look of the nose, or the sporty European style, it is a seriously cool ride.

There were two versions of the 900: the classic version was produced from 1978 to 1993, and the new generation produced from 1994 to 1998.  I like ’em both.  The newer version (above) is a little more rounded than the classic 900, but they’ll both work.  Call me crazy, but I’m a sucker for a car with headlight wipers.
