It is a sad time. The 2009-10 College Football Season is over. There won’t be another meaningful game played until September 4th with LSU plays UNC in Atlanta for the 2010 Chick-Fil-A College Football Kickoff. That’s 239 days away…
That said, Red Clay Soul would like to send it’s sincerest congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for winning the BCS National Championship to top off an outstanding season:
- 14-0 perfect record (in the toughest conference)
- SEC Champions
- Heisman Trophy Winner
- National Champions

As much as I hate to admit it, a "meaningful" football game with Carolina in it…usually isn't. Oh, well, we can but hope.

First off – I have really enjoyed your blog. I just wanted to provide a couple more T-town suggestions
1) The Locker Room is a great place. But I prefer "The Shirt Shop" (http://www.theshirtshop.biz/). They are located downtown. Like the Locker Room, the Shirt Shop has their own Elephant design collection which is more gameday appropriate than the bama gear found at the bookstore.
2) After shopping at Locker Room head over across the street to Gallette's for a "Yellow Hammers". There is no Gallette's sign. However, when on "The Strip" either look for a sign that says "Campus Party Store" or a bunch of sundress cladded sorority girls drinking out of red or yellow plastic cups. Remember not to have too many Yellow Hammers – you might not make to the game.
Well some better is coming this february 6 my friend, what we are been waiting the whole year, the Super Bowl, even when my team is already out(The Saints) this SB is going to be awesome, great teams, great players.
