In Response: Patagonia Synchilla Snap-T (Thanks, Trip)

Trip over at A Trip Down South recently posted about the greatness that is the Patagonia Snap-T pullover fleece. I couldn’t agree more. These are excellent – especially for our climate here in the South. They are perfect for three seasons, and can be slipped in on the rare cool Summer nights. While they aren’t indestructible, they do hold up well, and clean up very easily. Here is my current lineup:

These both get tons of wear. Everywhere from the lake, the office, and the golf course.
I’ve had a few in the past, and I’m sure I’ll have more. I recently had to get rid of one like this (oatmeal – which they don’t make anymore (??)):

It was just too short. Someone shorter than me is enjoying it. My first Snap T (Navy blue) was lost on a Formal Weekend in college:

On the Wish List (gray with green trim):
Like Trip said – the only place this one can be found is on Ebay. The current lineup is good, but the vintage colors are better.

The light gray/sage green was my first Snap-T! It was purchased in the fall of '96. Damn, I miss that thing. Thanks for the write-ups and the photos, y'all. I enjoyed them!

    I prefer this Orvis fleece-http://www.orvis.com/store/product.aspx?pf_id=26X5

Unfortunately, I'm in between sizes in the snap-t.

    Couldn't agree more.

I have a vintage color one stolen for a drive home after a black tie evening many years ago. Cobalt blue with Purple trim. Straight hot.

    Bit short, but worth it.

That is quite the collection. I actually donated a Snap-t to charity this year from 1993! xx

WHY do I keep giving stuff away? Where's my dark grey with purple trim?
