I had the pleasure of meeting Lindsey Harper at a recent Supper Club dinner here in Atlanta. She is a serious interior designer – the ‘featured in Southern Living, House Beautiful, Elle Decor, and Garden & Gun’ type of serious. She’s also the sister of previous ‘Top of the Heap’ contributor and RCS friend Hil from Gentleman South. So folks, it’s my pleasure to present you with Ms. Harper’s ‘Top of the Heap’:
“Because my grandmother’s ring is a little too large for my fingers, I pair it with another ring to keep it safe. The two work really well together, most people think it is one ring until I explain otherwise. Her ring is twisted gold with these interesting loops with 2 small emeralds. She said my grandfather Jim brought it back from a trip to Buenos Aires for her. it looks mid-century to me. It’s simple, interesting and very unique. I pair it with the large vintage topaz that I bought at an estate sale so that it is anchored safely on my finger. I wear them on my middle finger on my right hand everyday and I feel naked without them!” – Lindsey Harper, 2012
