Prior to my trip to Tree Farm, I was having a conversation with my guys from B.Draddy. I told them about my upcoming trip, and they offered to send me a bunch of goodies to beat up while I was out there.
Being that I’m a fan of Draddy, this was my first time hands-on with some of their more technical stuff. Now – it was scheduled to be hot out in Batesburg, SC…REALLY hot, so I was planning on wearing tech. Not only that, but as most of us in the South well know, it rains in the afternoons…sometimes a lot of rain.
So, about a week before I left, a box of goodies showed up. All good…I got some Draddy Sport technical polos, a Willie hoodie (which I already know and love), and some casual shorts for the evening hang, as well as some shorts – the Zac shorts, which are great. I had them hemmed -2″ before leaving. I’m an old dog. Gotta let my thighs breathe.
Overall, I was VERY impressed with the lot. The Draddy Sport shirts have a great fit and hold their shape even after some rain that tried (and failed) to dampen our spirits. The Zac Shorts are extremely lightweight and very comfortable on the course, especially walking ~38K steps in two days. The Willie Hoodie is an absolute staple, and the Rafa Shorts, although designed for tennis, were great for hanging. Good stuff.
Day One: Afternoon Round. It started off partly cloudy and 200 degrees outside. The clouds rolled in while we were on 14, and got rained on (hard) on holes 15 and 16. By hole 17, the rain was gone. The outfit performed flawlessly.

Day Two: Breakfast and Morning Round. We were scheduled for an 8:40 tee time the next morning, and the weather looked to be a bit overcast with a slight chance of rain. The temps were lower, but the humidity wasn’t. We got sprinkled on a few times during the round, but nothing that impacted our stellar play.
