Nice photos. Cabot did a great job converting this property from the old World Woods layout.
I live in Tampa and have been up to play all of the courses at CCF twice. Its a nice setup — more lowkey than Streamsong. It is probably unfair to compare the two, but given their proximity to each other, it is hard to avoid the comparison. Streamsong is better for the pure golf experience and the courses are superior, but the “hang” at CCF is great, as all activities are more centralized.
Roost and Squeeze, in my opinion, are the best tracks. Karoo is good, but less to my liking from a visual standpoint – it felt in many ways like a mashup of Streamsong Black and Tobacco Road. Roost reminded me a lot of Pinehurst 4.
All in all, its worth a trip – an hour straight north of our airport in Tampa.
