The Duck Head x Realtree capsule collection just dropped, and I’m a fan. It’s a smaller collection, but it hits all the right notes. Realtree Camo has long been a stalwart in the hunting and outdoors space, while Duck Head has firmly established itself in the #menswear world. Bringing the two together makes perfect sense. There’s some overlap between the two, but in the best possible way.
This collection also plays right into the heritage and workwear movement we’re seeing in men’s style. There’s room for orange. There’s room for (selective) camo. There’s room for untucked overshirts. It’s a welcome, more relaxed alternative to the blue-and-grey-suit brigade, and I’m all for it.
As for the collection itself, you’ll find Duck Head’s Gold School Chinos in a variety of Realtree patterns, a quilted vest, a fantastic orange boiled wool coat with Realtree lining, camo overshirts, a shooting shirt, and a dad hat to round things out. Nothing too over the top, but plenty of personality. These are pieces that can work just as well in the field as they do around town.
