I hope all of you took my advice and got reservations at an amazing restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Mrs. RCS and I are really excited to get out on the town…we’re getting dressed up and drinking champagne and a fantastic spot. Much more elevated than our usual Mexican restaurant or Chick-Fil-A. We’re sans-kids…
We’re dressing up this year. Why not? Here’s what we’re targeting (both hers and his). Ladies first:

1. Andrea Iyamah Ratu Mesh Dress: This dress is a lot and he’s going to love it.
2. Enid Marbled Acrylic Clutch: Cult Gaia is a cult favorite for all the reasons. Several clutches in just the right “pink” to take you from V-day through Summer and any night out between.
3. BlankNYC Suede Moto Jacket: Just a little blush and this easy silhouette is super cute with jeans and tennies too.
4. Marrow Cigar Band Ring: My favorite jewelry store helped me pick one out a few months ago, and IT IS PERFECTION. I wear it in lieu of my engagement/wedding rings more often than not and wear it on my other hand on a night out. Every woman needs this!
5. Alexandre Birman Clarita Heels: Yes, these are a splurge. But they are my go-to heels because they don’t kill my feet and work with everything. EVERYTHING!
6. Heatless Curling Set: Not sure why I’m late to the Kitsch game but glad I’m here! These are so easy!

1. Eton Dress Shirt: Arguably the best OTR dress shirt on the market. Crisp and clean. Perfect collars. Higher arm holes for a more tailored look. Perfection.
2. Drake’s Hand Rolled Silk Grenadine Tie: Texture wins over prints. It’s a more sophisticated look.
3. Brunello Cucinelli Plaid Sport Coat: Bring out the BIG guns.
4. Sid Mashburn Dress Trousers: ‘Dress Pants’ is a misnomer. Well-tailored wool trousers are as comfortable, if not more comfortable than any pants in your closet (silk lined!!). They wear much better as well.
5. Sir Jack’s Gold Vermeil Engine Turned Buckle: Sterling is cool, but don’t sleep on a gold buckle.
6. Boardroom Socks Black OTC Merino Wool Socks: If you are going to wear socks, wear good ones.
7. Cartier Santos Dumont Watch: We talk about divers watches and pilot watches a lot, but dress watches are a necessity to any watch box. Cartier does it right, and Valentine’s Day is the perfect time to give it a ride.
