Our friends at the Knottery have expanded beyond their great selection of ties and pocket squares to include belts. It seems like natural progression, but in true Knottery fashion, their belts have the same distinctive character. They were nice enough to send me a belt to get my opinion.
The Tom Braided belt has a feeling ‘dress-casual’ – not what you’d think from a traditional surcingle. The olive color and the tan crocodile print leather allows for dressing this belt beyond khakis or jeans – think medium gray flannels or Navy blue wool trousers. The price point is very attractive – at $37.50 per belt. Considering the look, I would say that’s a great value.
This belt has that ‘something’ extra. My only hope is that they offer more colors in the future.
