I’m heading to the Bahamas tomorrow morning. It’s a very surgical packing scenario, as the first flight to Nassau is followed by a 10-person puddle jumper to ELU and then a boat ride over to Harbour Island. It’s important to pack light, but to pack smart. Here are some essentials that always come with me:
Clockwise from top left:
Lotuff Leather Luggage Tag: A must. The folks in the Caribbean are extremely friendly, so I like to have all my travel bags labeled, even if they are all carry-on.
Filson 2-Zip Travel Kit: I love the size of this, as it has plenty of room not only for my personal stuff, but I can fit some suntan lotion (and aloe) as well. That stuff costs a fortune on the island.
J.W. Hulme Leather Passport Cover: Definitely a want rather than a need. It makes finding it much easier, and it protects your most important document.
Guy Stuff Pouch from Flight 001: The essential for me. It holds all my cords, chargers, ear buds, and everything else that would otherwise end up in the bottom of my duffle.
Love the JW Hulme case. Also, Flight 001 has some sweet stuff for the traveler. Two thumbs up.
