1. Buffalo & Company Rip Stop Hat: Tough…in ‘River Rock’.
2. Zep-Pro Redfish Belt: This may be my trip souvenir.
3. Polo by Ralph Lauren Tartan Cayman Trunks: Always wise to update your trunks. Thanks for pointing these out, J.
4. Widespread Panic Snake/Dove T-shirt: My green one from ’95 finally wore out.
5. Cole Haan Air Grant Mocs: Sharp. The Garrisons would work too…
6. New Balance 890s: Extremely light, and ready to rack up the miles.
7. Proporta Leather iPad2 Case: Is de-geeking an iPad2 possible? Probably not…but I’ll try.
8. Nautica Anchor Beach Towel: Not too flashy…this should keep me grounded.
#5–My son calls those Frat Cleats. But both DOTR and J3 say they are the most comfortable shoes they've ever owned.
Hey – I picked up the 890s about 2 weeks ago. I'm liking them a lot – pretty plush ride for such a light trainer.
Air Grants are 10 times more comfortable than the Garrisons… I have 3 different pairs.
Air grants are the way to go, got a pair a few weeks ago, barely have taken them off.
LOVINGGG the belt!
#3… for those who think the pony should be just a LITTLE bit bigger.
big ponys. NF
@MotR, Paul, & Max – I found the Garrisons on sale and pulled the trigger…they were about half the price of the Grants, but will probably have a short shelf-life, as they haven't left my feet yet. Grants are next as the Garrisons have been discontinued (?).
@Sour – I'm going to try them on today…
@Sundresses – It will be mine…soon.
@Ben & Anon – Agree, the big pony sucks. Two things: 1. Polo's trunks fit me the best, so it's collateral damage. 2. Big Pony > Cargo Pocket.
@J – Okay, okay… if forced, it would be the following ranking: big pony > cargo shorts > jean shorts. Have you tried Southern Tide's Channel Shorts?
