Our friends over at Onward Reserve have released a really nice collection of Fall pieces that show a nice growth trajectory. It’s not all tech 5-pockets and polos, instead focusing on texture, fabric, cuts, and a mature menswear palate that works at Sea Island or up in the big city.
Some of my favorites are the sport coats, which I would argue are the best value on the market. The wool Uptown Vest is a great addition, which allows an outfit to dress up just a bit, and the Covey Crewneck Sweater is a great layer. The texture and colors make this easy for the office or on the weekends.
And let’s not forget the Thomasville Collection, which is near and dear to TJ’s heart – I’m so glad they keep adding to this swimlane: it’s very #lodgewear, but also built tough enough for the field. The 1826 Field Jacket and the Briar Pants are killer. They remind me of the pants that Stafford’s used to sell but updated with a touch of stretch.
Here are some images that tell a better story:
Love Onward Reserve….
But why did they have to inflict Bama Bangs on Manhattan?
1000 words? The English major in me thinks you’re a few hundred words short….
