I’ve gotten a LOT of questions about Father’s Day gifts. Both guys looking for ideas and ladies looking for inspiration. I’m happy to help. While the gift isn’t the best thing about Father’s Day, it’s a good part ;-). Sure – sleep late, play with your kids, go fishing and/or play golf, and enjoy the Braves. It’s your day, dads.
Here are some ideas that I’m really digging:
From Top Left:
1. Sea Island Forge Grill Tools: By far the coolest grill tools on the market. They’ll take a licking and keep on ticking. Everything you need for a successful grill session.
2. Gransfors Bruk Hunter’s Axe: The manliest gift you can give.
3. Blair’s Belts Stretch Belt: Add some cool flair to your golf/weekend get-up. Blair’s does it right with the alligator tabs…
4. Turtlebox Gen 2 Speaker: For those dads that are hard of hearing, the Turtlebox can be heard from two counties away.
5. Ray Ban Outdoorsman Sunglasses: Upgrade his sunglasses with something cool and functional.
6. Emanuel Berg Geometric Shirt: The shirt that he likes, but he won’t buy for himself. A cool geometric shirt will look great at a Dead & Co. show untucked with shorts, or out on the town with his better half.
7. Dimple & Divot Hickory Golf Brush: The coolest golf accessory on the market right now. He’ll be amazed at how much he’ll enjoy using this.
8. Benchmade Bailout: He can never have too many knives, but this one will become his go-to. It’s light, and the tanto blade is extremely functional.
9. Martin Dingman Montana Belt: Camo for church.
10. J. Earl & Sons Trout DOFs: For the fisherman dad – these are such a good addition to his happy hour. He’s more than welcome to join in on #brownwaterfriday with these bad boys.
11. Colonel Littleton No. 2 Shoehorn in America Alligator: The unsung hero of men’s footwear: the shoe horn. Every guy needs one, so why not go all out?
12. Vessel Golf VLS Lux Stand Bag: Probably the nicest golf bag on the market. He’ll appreciate this one for every foreseeable round.
13. Sid Mashburn Geometric Tie: He’s got plenty of stripes, so mix it up with a geometric print. Very cool.
14. Oak Street Bootmakers Bit Moc in Suede: Toss the boat shoes and get the adult version. He’ll thank you profusely.
What did I miss?
One of the better/more useful Fathers’ Day gifts I ever received was a valet stand. I use it everyday. Convenient and safe spot to hang my work clothes and let them air out over night, plus a little drawer for watches, collar stays, etc. I think my wife bought it for me because she was tired of me throwing my clothes on the chair in our bedroom!
