It’s the most wonderful time of the year…
It’s GIFT GUIDE season…seems a little early but hey, welcome to the world of e-commerce. Here at RCS we think about a lot of different kinds of dudes and dudettes, and we have quite a few gift guides that will cover just about all of them. So sit back, relax, and let me do the work for you.
First up: elevated gift ideas for the golfer. Any of these will take the sting out of three-putts. Maybe.
From Top Left:
1 Holderness & Bourne Hunter Shirt in Sage: Some of the best golf shirts on the market in what has become the most popular colorway (sage) to be offered. Careful – this may be the only shirt you choose to wear…
2. Bluegrass Fairway Americana Edition Leather Headcover: Upgrade the hat for the big stick. Get something sturdy and American made by our friends up in Kentucky.
3. B. Draddy Russ Crew Neck Sweatshirt: Some of the best outerwear on the market. B.Draddy has their sweatshirts DIALED in. The crew neck is all the rage (vs. Q-zips), so get with the times, man.
4. Sea Island Crest White Tour Visor: There’s always room for another crisp white tour visor.
5. Hudson Sutler Heritage Shoe Bag: Another addiction: Hudson Sutler bags. They have become my go-to. The golf shoe bag is a great size for shoes and other do-dads and can be monogrammed (Extra credit: blaze orange initials on the camo…)
6. “Peanuts” by Rob Matre: Got all the golf equipment you need? Get a great piece of golf art. My friend Rob does some fantastic work, including this one.
7. Vuarnet Belvedere Sunglasses: Upgrade the $25 El Cheapos to something that will give you better protection and some style on (or off) the course.
8. “A Course Called America” by Tom Coyne: I read this in about three days. It’s an amazing journey around our country with golf as the denominator. Very well worth it.
9. Asher X Golf Pride Golf Glove: Add some variety to the otherwise monotone golf glove lineup. Asher makes fantastic gloves, and their collaboration with Golf Pride should be considered.
10. Sentinel Reversible Golf Vest: Sentinel creates some of the coolest golf equipment on the planet. They are so thoughtful… This vest is no exception. Fleece on one side and nylon on the other…just what the doctor ordered.
11. Vessel Player V Stand Bag: Go big or go home. Vessels are the Porsches of all golf bags. Own one and you’ll never want to own another.
12. w.kleinberg Matte American Alligator Belt: Green + Alligator + Matte = golf perfection. There isn’t a dude alive who wouldn’t be delighted to unwrap this bad boy on Christmas morning.
13. True Linkswear All Day Ripstop v2 Shoes: Need to do some walking? You’ll be extremely happy with these Ripstop v2s from True Linkswear. They are lightweight and have just the right soles for reaching back and piping one down the fairway.
14. Jones Utility Cooler: This has become my go-to for almost everything. It’s the perfect size for the back of a cart (or a boat, or to the playground, etc), and the price is just right.
What did I miss?
White gloves are boring. Kinda diggin’ the green.
All/mostly cotton attire this time of year.
