You’ve heard me sing the praises of LaRossa Shoe, the Massachusset outfit that works absolute magic on higher end shoes. I’m talking nuts and bolts reconstruction. They’ve been in business forever, and they are the defacto experts when you want investment-grade shoes kept at their highest function.
Recently they received a pair of alligator Foojoy Classics that were in need of some love. They had been ridden pretty hard, and needed some attention, both inside and out:

Notice that the inside backs were all re-lined with Pittards Leather, some of the finest available, and the upper alligator hides were completely restored. Not to mention the new soles and spikes…these are ready for another decade of golf rounds:
These were obviously a buy once, cry once pair of golf shoes, but after they get some miles, it’s all about the ‘once’, right? Knowing that there are folks like LaRossa to take care of these bad boys along the way not only protects the investment, but also allows for some serious eye candy for the rest of us…
These are my shoes. I’ve worn them for a bunch of rounds since I received them back from LaRossa. They feel great and look even better.
