The Dawgs square off against the Ducks of Oregon this Saturday at 3:30 at the Benz. While I won’t be there in person, I’ll enjoy the game from behind a haystack in a dove field. Obviously, I’ll be the best-dressed guy at the shoot, and I want you to be the best-dressed guy at the game.
For this one, it’s only appropriate to think of it from the Buckhead Dawg’s perspective. Here’s what you’ll see as that population descends a few miles South to watch the Bulldogs play:
From Top Left:
1. Johnnie O UGA Polo: Fresh and clean, straight from the UGA Bookstore (bought online).
2. Tour Visor from the UGA Golf Club: A great visor that shows you actually do get over to Athens from time to time.
3. Peter Millar 5-pockets: The right pants for a day like Saturday. Plenty of style and light on stretch.
4. Needlepoint Belt: A completely uncoordinated needlepoint belt from an Atlanta club where you aren’t a member.
5. Peter Millar UGA Quarter Zip: High of 90? Who cares? How can you respect yourself in the morning if you aren’t donning a quarter zip…in Buckhead.
6. Nike Air Pegasus: Comfortable shoes for the post-game walk all the way from your seat to the Uber Lot, and ultimately back to Buckhead (where it’s safe).

The. only think more Buckhead Daddy-Dawg than passing out at 7 Harris St. before the game may be watching the game from a dove field.
Swap out the visor for a Stetson and the Nikes for some redwings or Tecovas and you’ve got a solid look for Austin too.
I like the style but this outfit would look a whole lot better with Kentucky blue, Cheers to a good season!
LSU Alum here – I cheer for other SEC teams when we play other Power 5s. I hope UGA wins, but I am not sure about the spread. Nix is 0-3 all time against UGA, so I think he comes out strong, but not enough to get the win.
Anyone who thinks Buckhead is considerably safer than the Benz these days has not been paying attention! 😉

Go Dawgs and great collab with The PMGN. I’m currently in the market for new shoes as I’ve got all the aches and pains that come with hitting the fifties and overdoing it for years. That being said, you’ve featured New Balance or Brooks for years and suddenly two Nikes recommended within the last week. Are the Nikes as comfortable because I’d gotten away from them several years ago? I’ve narrowed down to Hokas or Clouds but don’t want to overlook Nike if they’re back in the game.
Nikes are for looks only, or if you have really wide feet. I have narrow, flattish feet, and I’ve been wearing Brooks and On Clouds exclusively for the last 2 years and won’t go anywhere else, including New Balance.
