inshore for redfish and trout
Offshore fishing has easily become my favorite type of fishing, especially since I’ve been in Charleston for the last five years or so and have regular opportunities to go. There is something about losing sight of land to fish for species most people rarely get to see in real life. I haven’t seen any other species light up and change colors in the water the way a mahi or marlin does when they’re coming in for a strike or making a strong run away from the boat. Love the blog and love the Flood Tide Co. guys!
Large mouth bass
I love stalking reds.
I’ve recently gotten into fly fishing, partly inspired by your stories of it, and spending a Saturday afternoon at the family pond catching bass with some poppers and my old man has become my new favorite hobby.
