Golf season is here, and our club is opening back up (long story). I honestly haven’t played that much over the last year, and I’m looking forward to getting back in the swing of things. I need to get the handicap into the prime Member-Guest range.
Since I haven’t played that much, I thought it would be a good idea to regrip my clubs. While this may not be the most exciting part of golf, it is one of the most important. These grips provide a landing spot for your hands on the clubs. They should not only be functional but give you the confidence to pull off any shot in your repertoire.
I went with Golf Pride from top to bottom. For my woods, I went with the MCC in black. I’ve been playing the MCCs for as long as I can remember, and I especially like the feel on my driver and fairway woods.
For my irons, I re-upped with Z-cord grips. I love these. I’ve never had an issue with slipping, and they have a cool, traditional look.
Lastly, for my wedges, I went with the MCC-Plus4 in the Navy and Red team colors. If you remember, my wedges have a Dead theme, and the red and blue finish it off nicely:
All in all, I couldn’t be happier.
