I like these shorts in theory, but the no button, elastic waistband combo you see often these days, is very annoying.
I have a pair, and they’re great for lake days with the kids (might get wet, but not jumping into the lake kind of wet). I didn’t think I’d like the belt loops, but throw on a belt with a tucked-in shirt and I can wear these out of the house and feel good about it. You could even wear them on the course, in a pinch, without looking like you’re wearing “athletic” shorts. I’m a 33 waist and medium fits well.
Have these in multiple colors – my go-to do-everything summer shorts. I treat them like an elevated version of Baggies. Fit is perfect, material is comfortable, breathes well, and dries quickly. They hold up extremely well to stains – Fourth of July grill stains came out in 1 quick wash.
