I dig the date night. We’ve made it a priority to go out a couple of times a month, and one has to be bit more formal (vs. chips and salsa at the local Mexican joint). It’s nice, and shows respect for my girl. Take her somewhere nice, and dress the part. Here is what I’m sporting in January:
From Top Left:
1. J. Crew Cashmere Crewneck Sweater: A lighter weight cashmere sweater for less than $100. Yep.
2. Omega Seamaster 007 Edition: I’m completely obsessed with this watch. It is such a cool look, and the bracelet is *chef’s kiss*.
3. Banana Republic Luxury Touch Pique Shirt: I’ve got a few of these now, and they do a couple of things for me: 1. A great, fashion forward look that is extremely comfortable, and 2. They keep me in shape… Don’t sleep on the Banana Republic catalog. It’s really something.
4. W. Kleinberg Matte Alligator Belt w/ O-Ring Buckle: The next belt on my list.
5. Herno Arendelle Blazer: The puffer jacket in a sport coat cut is a smart look. Especially with #6 and #7.
6. Peter Millar Excursionist Flex Alpine 5-Pockets: I seriously dig 5-pocket dress pants in wool. Not stuffy at all, but a much dressier look.
7. R.M. Williams Gardener Suede Chelsea Boots: Please tell me you have a pair of these. Top shelf.
What are you digging this January?
Don’t sleep on J. Crew sweaters. About the only thing left at J. Crew for grown men.
Holy smokes I haven’t thought about Banana Republic in over a decade- are they back?!
J. Crew sweaters are really good. You can score some great deals too on them. Also, J. Crew makes really good rugby shirts which you can also find on sale a lot.
Been thinking on pulling the trigger on a pair of RM Williams, but my Dubarry’s won’t die on me!
