July Fourth Action

On July 4th, our wonderful country will be 249 years old.  I love the annual celebration.  A lot.  For us, it involves a rather busy day…

We start at the pool, where we have a rowdy celebration with our friends, complete with waterslides, pool games, and face painting.  Burgers and ribs are grilled, and there is a lot of Lee Greenwood and Toby Keith coming out of the speakers.  We’ll retreat to the house around mid-afternoon, where our cul-de-sac will liven up with bikes, coolers, and camaraderie.  Then we all head out to watch fireworks, and then turn in WAY past our bedtimes.

And we love every minute of it.

Here’s how I like to prepare…

From Top Left:

1. Garrett Leight Broadway Sunglasses: Some good shades for long day in the sun.  These have become my go-to.
2. Stealie Web Belt:  We all had one way back in high school (or the black one with the dancing bears), so why not bring it back to life?  Show a little red, white, and blue.
3. ‘Wave That Flag’ T-Shirt:  Speaking of Dead, here’s a patriotic t-shirt for the Fourth of July!
4. Holderness & Bourne Anderson Polo:  Go ahead and enjoy this perfect red polo, and get it broken in for UGA’s 2025 National Championship run.
5. Duck Head ‘On the Fly’ Performance Shorts:  Utility shorts for the day. Whether at the lake, pool, cookout, or beach, these bad boys are ready to rock.
6. La Matera Sausalito Woven Belt:  Show some waist flare with this jewel from La Matera…a good one for this GREAT day.
7. Rolex 60s Oyster Perpetual Watch:  That red face…absolutely KILLER.
8. Wyld Gear 16oz Insulated Stainless Steel Cup:  Just came to know these cups.  I got a couple from Broadfield, and they have become our daily picks.  All I want is more…
9. Havaianas Flip Flops:  How cool are the light blue flops?
10. Pennbilt Club Shorts:  They never go out of style…hem them to your liking (if 7″ is too long).
11. Oak Street Bootmakers Camp Mocs:  The perfect knockaround shoes for days like this.
12. Kermit Chair:  The adult version of a lawn chair…completely obsessed with the design.  More to come on these guys.
