Brooks Brothers has done a little re-branding of their dress shirts. Personally, I prefer Relaxed, Regular, Slim, and Extra Slim as it doesn’t require a decoder ring, but who am I to stand in the way of progress?

I’m guessing there were some large marketing research dollars spent on this change, but I just don’t get it. Why would you make purchasing your product a more complex process to newcomers, while at the same time turning off/confusing loyal customers? Oh sure, we’ll all get the hang of it after a while, but what could have been gained by this?
