These have to be some of the coolest sports posters ever made. I remember these – my brother and I had a few that adorned our playroom and bedrooms. I specifically remember Murphy, LT, and the Bash Brothers, along with the Jordan wings poster. We worshiped these guys. These posters were so simple, but struck the right nerve.
It would be great to see something like this again…here’s a good collection:
Loved these as a kid! Two of my favorites were George Gervin’s “Iceman” and Darrell Griffith’s “Dr. Dunkenstein” posters.
Oh, this was a fun trip down memory lane. My favorite poster as a kid was the “Sultans of Slam” poster.

What a trip down memory lane! Jordan wings was killer…. must’ve been six feet long. I got The Boz for Christmas one year…I knew I was getting it and drove my mother crazy asking if I could hang it up before Christmas.
