Hats off to the ladies at Southern Proper for their most recent release – the PC shorts. These look good – great for casual settings where relaxing is key.
They did everything right – shorter inseam (5″ – reminiscent of Stand Ups), no belt loops, back pocket, and great colors – I’ve got my eye on ‘Rebel Red’. Another reason I’m glad to see these: I can add to my current rotation.
I love these – I call them my ‘weekend shorts’. Polo doesn’t make them anymore (although I see them at the outlets every once in a while). Like the Southern Proper option – just short enough, just baggy enough, and a back pocket:
The PC Shorts are going to be released to the public on 4/1 at SP retailers only.
I was literally JUST looking at these online the other day! I love Southern Proper and their attention to detail (i.e. the "Pitch a Tent"). I'm sure you'll look great in the new shorts!
I was visiting their site yesterday – will have to keep my eye out for these for Hubby. Love So Pro.
I saw these and was thrown by the elastic and no belt loops – do you not tuck your shirt in ? T-s only?

I also have two pairs of those Polo shorts, great for lounging, being hungover, kayaking or the beach. Relaxation and elastic waistbands go hand in hand.

@DAM: Good to hear from you man!!! Here's how I do it: no tuck, t-shirt or golf shirt. Maybe a button up. Regardless, don't tuck it in. Flip flops of barefoot.
