One of the most iconic weekends in the Georgia football ethos has arrived. The annual pilgrimage to the Golden Isles through St. Augustine is here, centered around the Bulldogs taking on the Gators in Jacksonville. While it looks like this will be paused for a bit, we’ve all been there. As students – either SSI or hotels around Jax. As freshly married folks – roughly the same. As “mature” adults – we were staying on Sea Island or the like, where the game is a hard maybe.
This is focused on the latter. The dudes have excellent tickets to the game, but they also have a tee time on the Seaside course on Saturday morning and Ocean Forest on Sunday. Where there is every intention of watching the game…it just might not be in person. You may have a couple of extra tickets to spare. Let’s face it, the Dawgs are going to roll, and dinner after halftime at C&A sounds really good…
Dress the part…as a hard ‘maybe’ on heading into Jacksonville…OR hanging back and watching it in the locker room:
From Top Left:
1. Holderness & Bourne Champman Shirt: A white cotton polo that is head and shoulders above the rest. Great for the course or the lower deck.
2. White Tour Visor: No need to change it up from your morning tee time.
3. True Linkswear X Knockaround Dead Golfer Sunglasses: A great option for the dialed-in guy. A little dead, a little alive.
4. W. Kleinberg Glazed Red American Alligator Belt: A great way to support the Dawgs in a high-fashion way.
5. Faherty Coastline Chinos: It’s a little chilly in the mornings, but these pants transition well to the afternoon…and evening.
6. Peter Millar Perth 1962 Helmet Quarter Zip: Just in case it’s a little breezy off the St. John River.
7. New Balance 993s: Comfort is key…lots of walking around the Lodge or around the Landing. Either way, you’ve got the kicks to make it work.
