I hate years like this. The Georgia vs. Florida game is usually met with some serious fanfare, but this year it’s one of those ho-hum games. Florida sucks. They fired their coach. There is zero exhaust coming out of Gainesville. Boring.
But it’s still a reason to party. And as all Georgia fans know, Saint Simons Island/Sea Island are the place to be. “Frat Beach” is all the rage – both physically (if you are of age) and metaphorically (if you are older than that). And let’s be honest, getting geared up for this game should be focused on “yeah, I just sold our tickets to some UGA Sigma Chis…we’re going to Knat’s”.
Comfort. Not speed:

From Top Left:
1. Bootleg Athens, GA Hat:  Classic.  City.  This should travel well.
2. Oakley Frogskin Sunglasses:  The best old-school wayfarer sunglasses out there.  And a good price, too.
3. Casio Red Casioak Watch:  I like a flashy timepiece, but one that costs around $100.  I recommended this last year and the jury was split – some hated it, and some bought and loved it.
4. Criquet UGA Player’s Shirt:  The coolest Georgia shirt…great style and the old school helmet is just right.
5. B.Draddy Brian Pants: Draddy knocked it out of the park with these, they are super soft cotton, and are the perfect ‘wash and hang dry, then wear ’em’ pants.  Perfect for a weekend of barking on the coast.
6. UGA Stadium Ribbon Belt:  Never seen this one, right?  Be that guy.
7. New Balance 993s:  It ain’t broke…don’t fix it.
8. Champion Reverse Weave Sweatshirt:  For later in the evening…November is here.
Cheers, Dawg fans. Enjoy the cocktail party!

You’re up and running before the Poor Man and I need my game notes. Did he have too much fun at Three Headed Dawg last night on SSI!? Seriously, this game is special and it’ll never look the same after they put the retractable roof on but it’ll always be WLOCP at the beach and from Ponte Vedra to Savannah as well as my backyard in Newnan! Thanks for introducing me to Criquet shirts years ago.
Go Dawgs!
Criquet obtaining collegiate licenses was a game changer.
