Mrs. Red Clay Soul and I made the trek up North to the outlets. One of our stops was to the Restoration Hardware outlet. Mrs. Red Clay Soul is a huge fan, and I have to admit – it’s not too bad. She stocked up…seriously stocked up. I got this:
It’s a four function pen – well made (it’s metal), and each part works well. It reminds me of something my Granddad would use.
They have all sorts of unique stuff at their outlet. We don’t go up too often, and I’m usually surprised by what I see. Here are some things I would have brought home if I had room:
The Dandux rolling hamper was great. Reminds me of my Coal Bag. It was the sturdiest hamper I’ve ever seen. You could ride in it.
I don’t know what it is about drafting tables.
While a trip to Restoration Hardware is rarely a reason to make the long drive North, seeing stuff like this makes it a bit more bearable.
I dream of the day I have time to actually shop in the stores up there I want to visit–RH, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, etc. By the time we've hit Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Coach, Sunglass Hut and J Crew, the attention span for shopping (as well as all my money) is gone.
Was that the Premium Outlet near Dahlonega, GA?
What a good hubby– going shopping with your wife! That pen is so handy!
That is a sweet pen(cil)!
It's crazy to me that you drive north to Restoration Hardware. We live in the Yukon and the nearest one is in Edmonton Alberta – a 24 hour drive south.
Ah…I need that drafting table…seriously, need it. Just found your blog and have enjoyed my visit!
