Spring Date Night

On a personal note, Mrs. RCS and I feel like we’ve been stuck inside for months.  We’ve had plenty of date nights, but most of them have consisted of heavy layers and Uber dropping us off at the door to avoid cold temperatures and/or rain.

These warmer nights couldn’t come soon enough.  Our ‘dance card’ is filling up, and we’re ready to enjoy pre-dinner cocktails, strolls to restaurants, and outdoor dining.  I’m also looking forward to getting into my go-to look…

From Top Left:

1. Sid Mashburn Awning Stripe Shirt:  Awning stripes are such a cool look, especially under a sport coat.  Not too stuffy, but super cool.
2. Persol Aviator Sunglasses:  Hopefully your reservations involve cocktails on a porch prior to dinner.
3. Ring Jacket Balloon Jacket:  One of the best sport coats on the planet, Ring Jacket’s balloon fabric wears very formal, but functions incredibly.  It moves with you.
4. Omega Flightmaster:  A cool, unique watch is a conversation starter.
5. Peter Millar Wayfare 5-Pockets:  A great pair of 5-pockets that wear like trousers.  Not baggy, and hemmed to no break.  Perfecto.
6. Blair’s Belt Matte Candler Alligator Belt:  Alligator belts don’t always need to be shiny…matte is such a cool look.  Understated, but very elegant.
7. Oak Street Bootmakers Suede Bit Loafers:  Don’t ever listen to the ‘suede is a winter leather’.  Keep it fresh all year long.

Cheers, folks.
