The Criquet Clubhouse

I had the opportunity to play in The Eighth Annual The Invitational a couple weekends ago in Austin, and it gave me the opportunity to go see two of my favorite guys – Billy and Hobson of Criquet Shirts.  They recently moved into their own space, which they lovingly refer to as The Clubhouse.

It is awesome.  Lots of great nostalgic golf stuff, and plenty of those great Criquet shirts that we’ve all come to know and love.  It’s very appropriate for Criquet.  Almost a 19th hole feel.  Get over and stop in, crack a beer, and listen to Billy and Hobson crack jokes.

I’ll let the pictures do the talking:

To celebrate, they are hosting a Grand Opening and Masters Viewing Party this Saturday at their new place.  If you are in or around Austin, it is worth stopping by:

Great company….I’ve had nothing but positive experiences dealing with them. However, their shirts were better when they were made in the USA, not the current imported offering.

Love their shirts as well but the quality isn’t as good as it used to be. I washed one of mine only a few times on “gentle cycle” and it has a hole in it. The shirts are too comfortable not to wear though.! That one became a beach/yard work shirt.

Jeff and Ben. Sorry you all have had issues with your shirts. We appreciate customer feedback and are always looking to find ways to improve the quality of our shirts.

We had some consistency issues with our domestic production partner and since moving production overseas, have found the quality (and consistency) to be better. That being said, we are currently sampling with some domestic factories, so keep and eye out for Made in America to be back in the mix.

Feel free to email me at billy@criquetshirts.com to discuss further.

    Be the ball,
    Billy

Billy – Thanks for the follow up. I have only had that issue with one shirt that I purchased about a year ago so I am not sure where it was made. I’ll have to check the tag. I still love your products and recommend them to people quite often.

Hope you got the chance to check out Texas Custom Boots next door. They have some of the coolest vintage Lucchese boots I have ever came across.
