It was a lot. I know. The Masters is my Super Bowl. I’m glad so many of you enjoyed it, and for those that didn’t we’re resuming our regularly scheduled programming starting tomorrow.
I was glad to get down to Augusta on Tuesday with some buddies. I’m glad I had a great friend fix my buyer’s remorse during her trip on Friday. I came away with some loot (including a 2012 hat…), but nothing cooler than this:
Tuesday featured quite a few skips across the pond on 16 (yours truly’s steady hand…):
Here are some images…enjoy:
All of the above, please.
Manual scoreboard. And NO corporate logos plastered everywhere.
Lunch. One of the better $3 BBQ sandwiches I’ve had. Had a little spice to it.
The Clemson Threesome (Byrd, Glover, and Corbin Mills (a))
The 6th ‘Juniper’. Par 3, 180 yards. Probably a full 6 iron.
The 13th ‘Azalea’ Green. A thing of beauty.
The Clubhouse and facilities
…and some dessert for the road.
I still excited for Bubba. What a great Masters Champion, and a DGD. I can’t wait to see what he serves at the Champions Dinner next year…
Don’t forget to get your entry in for a little Georgia pride with our friends at State Traditions…click here
Did they have those S&B belts in the merchandise tent? That thing is beautiful.
Great photos! I’ve never been to Augusta so it’s fun to see some of the things they don’t show on TV. So happy for Bubba and his family- that was one of the most moving wins I’ve ever seen.
Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Arnold Palmer wearing the khaki version of that belt… have to get my hands on one of those.
