You are all well aware that I’m always on the lookout on second-hand sites, estate sales, antique fairs, etc. I love the hunt, but also really find some great deals. Over the past year or so, I’ve accumulated some really cool watches and bands, and finally took the time to get everything in good working order.
Now, I have plenty of high-end luxury watches, so these are additive. I do NOT own an Apple Watch, and have zero desire to do so (word is a lot of people are opting out of ‘smart’ watches). These are weekend warriors, sport watches, and an option for a nice break from my heavy hitters:
Starting on the left, I FINALLY came across a Fat Eddy’s Threadworks band on Mercari, and pulled the trigger. This one is built for a 20mm lug width vs. the normal 18, so most digital watches wouldn’t work. Enter this Luminox Sentry that I found for a STEAL on Ebay, and I’m good to go.
The middle watch is the famed Ironman Analog. I had one of these YEARS ago after my original digital 8-lap Ironman clocked out. I loved this watch, and when I saw this on Ebay, I had to have it. The condition is fantastic, and the only thing it needed was a new battery.
On the right is a Seiko Flightmaster that I’ve had forever. I found it back in high school when we drained the lake at the golf course where I was employed. Mrs. RCS found this Blancpain strap at an estate sale, and I think it looks GREAT.

Good times.

I have the Ironman ana-digi, bought it new in 1997. It really tickled my fancy with the colors. Plus I really like ana-digi watches in general. It’s nice to see it represented! 🙂
