With the MLB start just around the corner, we’ve had to rely on college baseball (awesome), 1PM Braves Spring Training games (also awesome), and the World Baseball Classic (surprisingly awesome). To level-set, we are a big baseball house, and usually have it on TV. The boys love it, Mrs. RCS likes watching (and multi-tasking), and I love watching all the games.
Of note: huge props to the WBC for their uniforms. Every single one of them is engaging, with a classic feel and patriotic colors. Nike designed 19 of the 20 uniforms, with the lone exception of Mizuno designing Japan’s look. I’m most impressed with the hats. To be honest, they ALL look great:

The US has a good, classic look. I like the forward italicized US in front of a star, and the red bill is a nice touch:
The Dominican Republic might be my favorite. A 1980’s Padres feel:
Don’t sleep on Curacao (a Dutch island). The crown is so cool:
Australia’s A was easy…I’ve long argued that the A’s have some of the best uniforms in baseball (white cleats!), and this picks right up:
Mizuno didn’t miss with Japan’s hat. The fat ‘J’ has some Red Sox feel to it, and the gold outline is a nice touch:
