Instagram is an interesting thing. The search button not only provides the ability to research/find/enjoy the app, but also provides suggestions based on your viewing history. It’s actually pretty impressive.
I receive numerous restoration posts suggested—a lot of shoes, houses, cars, leather stuff, etc. I enjoy watching the process and seeing the results. These videos are relaxing.
Recently, Instagram suggested this video, from an account called @forthcone, which is a high-end poster restoration service. I didn’t follow them at the time (I do now!), but I was intrigued. Their focus was on an antique 1907 Winchester advertisement that was in relatively bad shape. The original size of the poster is 42″ x 32″, so it’s neither small nor huge, but still significant. The relic showed up in literal pieces, and the team got to work. Again, I highly encourage you to watch the video. It’s unbelievable.

The finished product is absolutely breathtaking. It looks new. Clean, crisp, and completely restored, this is now ready for quite frankly wherever you’d like to hang it. Not sure I could convince Mrs. RCS to hang this inside our fort, but I’m sure there’s a good home out there:
And for those who would like to inquire, the restored poster is currently for sale on Ebay:
