Dead Golfer Knockarounds from True Linkswear:

I love my Randolphs. I love my Garrett Leights. But I don’t love wearing them to the pool or the beach with kids in tow. These ‘Dead Golfer’ Knockaournds from True Linkswear are just what the doctor ordered…a great, somewhat oversized Summer shape, adorned with some dead decor on the front. And the price is JUST right.

Ghurka Pants from Tellason:

I’m in the phase of hunting/fishing where I’m purging more than I’m buying – simply because I know what I like and that’s all I need to own. I don’t need nine pairs of field pants. I don’t need seven shooting shirts. I need a few, but I want the best. I absolutely love these Ghurka pants from Tellason (who is a world-class manufacturer), and think these would do EXTREMELY well in the field, on the shore, in the bass boat, etc. For me, these are a ‘buy once, cry once’, but after about 8-9 years of wear, they should be at peak performance.

Nike Air Pegasus Premium Road Running Shoes:

Generally speaking, when I grab running shoes, I go for Trail versions, which feature some sort of Gore-Tex or waterproofing, heavy traction, and are cleanable with a pressure washer. They are great for chasing kids, soccer games, etc. But for running and exercising, I’ve always had a soft spot for the Nike Pegasus. These ‘Premiums’ just shot to the top of my list. I love the colorway and the cushion. Let me get back to workin’ on my fitness….

The North Face X Bialetti Moka Espresso Set:

I have NO idea how to use this, but I want it. Badly. This espresso set collaboration between Bialetti and TNF is incredible. In all seriousness, I love the idea, and the execution with The North Face is flawless. And at $150/set (includes all sorts of goodies), it is very attainable…and would make a GREAT gift.

Vintage 4×4 SUVs Ribbon Club Belt from The Belted Cow:

Ribbon belts have sort of lost their favor over the last few years, but Belted Cow has remained steadfast. The ultimate preppy move, they created a vintage SUV design that features all the hits. If you are an old truck guy, or just an admirer, this one is for you.
More to come…
Moka pots are pretty sweet. TNF is cool, but the pot on its own can be had for like $40, so I don’t know if I really think that’s all worth $150 lol. They take some dialing in, correct coarseness, what beans you like for it, but they are not hard. good for camping and what not because all you need is that pot and hot water.
You can absolutely slap a north face sticker on a $15 moka pot and save the $135.
My most conservative take is that I”m over slapping grateful dead art on every shitty made-in-china product then asking people to buy it. If you are wearing gd logos, you should be drug tested on the spot and if you pass, your gear will be taken away until you come back and fail your drug test
The pants appear fine, but they don’t look like Gurkha pants. The real thing is high-wasted, pleated, and has no belt loops. They are typically held together with two buttons or side bands.
