Rounding out the week…here are five things that have my attention, and I think you’ll enjoy:

Rivay NYC X ACL Highland Field Shirt: Rivay doesn’t miss. I’ve been wearing their Correspondance Jacket for some time. ACL is a trusted friend and mentor, and I’m thrilled for this collaboration. This field shirt hits all the right notes: Classic fit (perfect for the field), 6 oz. Herringbone cotton, a great shade of olive, and big front pockets… Well hello, Fall. Meet the shirt I’m wearing all the time.

Fujifilm X-E5 Camera: I’ve been using my X100T for quite some time, and LOVE it. The fixed 23MM lens is nice (for 35MM shooting), but I’m afraid the technology is getting lapped. I have been eyeing the X-E5 for quite some time. It boasts a REALLY nice 40-megapixel sensor and a bunch of other bells and whistles, but the most attractive one is the interchangeable-lens option. I have a few X-mount lenses that’ll work very well, and might add a few other pancakes… The size is just right, and should get a lot of work as a walking-around option.

Monocle Canvas Tote Bags: I found one of these at a Goodwill and was immediately taken by the build, design, and quality of the bag. First, it’s constructed of heavy canvas. It’ll patina very nicely. Second, the build is very strong. VERY strong. Lastly, the design is perfect for quick trips – it’ll hold an iPad, a notebook, and a few other knick-nacks and look great. The good news: you can find them on eBay for about $20. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Duck Camp Drifter Pants: I always look forward to Dove Season – for a lot of reasons, but one of them is to pull these bad boys out. They are SUPER light, but cut so that they fit nicely over boots. I can’t wear shorts to a dove shoot, as the bugs LOVE me. I always wear pants…and these are the pants I choose.

Cotopaxi Roller Carry-on Suitcase: I’m intrigued by this carry-on. I love the design, the price, and the different colored wheel options, but what I really like is the no-zipper design. The lockable latches seem so smart… and much easier to use than trying to get a zipper zipped. I want to see one in person, but as I said…I’m intrigued…
