Walking through a discount store the other day, something caught my eye…the Levi’s tag. Upon further inspection, They are a pair of LVC S501XX 1944 jeans in selvedge denim…in my size:
The fit is good – a little slimmer than the 501s off the rack today. They are marked ‘irregular’, but the only issue I can find is the writing on the back patch. There is some whiskering, which I don’t really like, but for $22, I’m not going to complain. The style number is 44501.0040 – Levi’s aficionados – any insight?
That’s an awesome find man.
I’m good on jeans for many years, but I still look at new stuff all the time.
I just need to keep reminding myself that my RRL’s will take decades to wear out the rate I wear them.
