Criqueting – Resort Style

Warm greetings, friends.  Look at all these short sleeves…it’s like Spring is close.  Not too close, but we can definitely see the runway.  Our friends at Criquet just released their Resort Collection…a handful of their iconic Player’s Shirts in some really great colors.  The lineup this year is Mr. Pink, Creamsicle, Spruced Up, the Seve, and the Noonan.  It’s a strong lineup.

I’ve got a few Player’s shirts in my closet that are five years old, and they are still wearing well.  Over time, they continue to soften up, and get that good vintage-esque feel.  I wear them quite a bit in the Spring and Summer – everything from a taco dinner date with the wife to bass fishing with my rube friends.  Always untucked.

Time to restock:

The entire collection is available on the Criquet website…get some.

“Always untucked.” Amen. Especially with shorts.
Unless you’re a strength coach, in which case, tuck away.

Agreed…these are a unique “pro style” golf and leisure knit.  They work pretty well under a blazer on the patio, but are mostly for sport.  I wear traditional polo knit shirts (without the sewn collar and elongated 3-bottom placket) year ’round.  Never occurred to me to try the Criquet with a v-neck or 1/4 zip but now I will.  Mr. Pink is where it’s at, btw.
