By all means am I a Bit Loafer fan. I wear them all the time. I generally prefer the Martin Dingman or Oak Street Bootmakers bits, and the Onward Reserve Pace bits are a great adaptation as well.
However, East Dane just picked up one of my favorite pair: the Salvatore Ferragamo Fiordi Double Gancio Bit Loafers in the tan/gold bit option. These are actually a little tough to find, but are unique enough to stand out from my usual line up. These aren’t really a casual loafer, but can be worn with good jeans, a dress shirt, and a sport coat. You don’t need jazzy socks (ever), so stick with solid navy.

You a fan?
No.
You’re eleven days early with this post.
These are awful. If you’re in the market for SFs, the Goodwill on Roswell has multiple pairs as of this afternoon…
I just got Oak Street Bootmakers Tan Suede Bit Loafers. Fit is great. I love them so far. The color in person is a little darker than I was expecting off the photos. I was hoping for a little lighter ( like the photos) for a good all around spring color but they are great regardless. Quoddy also makes some great loafers with a sporty bottom for a more all purpose/occasion wear.
Not a fan of Cole Haan or Alden’s bit loafers?
