Rounding out the week…here are five things that have my attention, and I think you’ll enjoy:
1. College World Series: And honestly, back to the Super Regionals. I hope all of you baseball fans have been enjoying these games. They’ve ALL been fantastic. Props to the UGA vs. Mississippi State Super Regional…some of the best baseball I’ve watched in a LONG time. My 7- and 8-year-olds would agree. Now – who do we pull for, Oklahoma or UNC?
2. C. Field & Roe Seersucker Contrast Collar Shirt: I saw this on CFR’s Instagram and almost fainted. This shirt is incredible. Business up top (white structured collar) and party time below (seersucker). Pair this with a pair of 5-pockets and a sport coat, or shorts and bit loafers. It works. Trust me.
3. Luminox Sea Turtle Watch: I recently saw these at Old Florida Outfitters and it took a lot for me NOT to buy one. (I actually already have a Luminox…Mrs. RCS reminded me). But this feels like a GREAT everyday field watch. Wear it fishing, hunting, in/around the water, etc. I’d say it’s fine at work as well…maybe not with a suit. The price feels right.
4. Tom Beckbe Crenshaw Performance Shorts: Everything about these is great. The inseam is just short enough. The material is just thick enough. The elastic is right where it should be. These are a true go-to pair of shorts – from the golf course to the pool.
5. Stuart Woods Books: Specifically the Stone Barrington series. These might be the best beach reads on the planet. Grab one or two from Goodwill. You won’t be sorry.
