My guys down in Jacksonville have been doing some great work in the Live Forever Golf lab. Their new Spring line shows maturity as a brand, as they have rounded out their catalog. While 90% of their product offerings can be used for golf, they also work off the course.
A prime example is the Golden Hour Hoodie. It’s a lightweight performance pullover that features a quarter zip, a marsupial pocket, and a modern fit (same as Peter Millar). It’s a buttery-soft feel, provided by the brushed poly/spandex blend. It has plenty of stretch, which works for early morning range sessions, heading to the gym or grocery store, or chasing kids around the baseball field.
I like to call this one the utility player. The $105 price point is really justified in what you get – the material is substantial, not paper thin. Plenty of color options (my favorites are the Heathered Black (pictured) and Dusty Coral).
From a care and feeding perspective, My advice is to wash in cold weather, dry on low for ~5 minutes, and immediately lay flat to dry. It’ll be ready to go in a couple of hours. Here are some detailed shots:
LFG was not on my radar but I’ll check them out.
I like the quarter-zip design on the hoodie. My preference is not to wear a hoodie on the golf course, but I could certainly see myself wearing this around the house and while running errands on the weekend, maybe even to/from gym.
I agree with CCE. I feel the golf style has gotten too casual an d the hoodie is making it worse. That said this would be a nice around the house/errand running hoodie.
