July Fourth Style

I hope everyone is as excited to celebrate the Fourth as we are here at the Fort.  It’s always a very special weekend, as my mother’s birthday is the 3rd.  Known as ‘Grammie’ to our boys, she gets a day.  Then the fourth, which is always a great day at the pool, enjoying a cookout, good music, friends, and then celebrating our great country with fireworks.  I preemptively took Tuesday off to recover.

Now, what’s most important on the Fourth?  Yep, looking better than everyone else.  Think through it.  Here’s my style:

From Top Left:

1. Randolph Classic Aviators:  Good shades that are made in America.  Randolph does it right, folks.
2. Tour Visor from Fish Hawk:  Some good ‘ole boys from Atlanta run one of the coolest fly shops in the Southeast.  And they crush it with these tour visors.  IYKYK.
3. Poncho Performance Sun Shirt:  I’m 100% sold on these.  I’ve been wearing them all summer, and absolutely love them.  Don’t forget guys – skin care is a must.
4. Holderness & Bourne MacDonald White Polo:  There’s always room for a white polo.  A good one like H&B’s wears dressier than some of the slouchier cousins.  Step it up.
5. Seiko SKX009 Diver Watch:  If you don’t have an eBay alert on ‘SKX009’ then you are slow to the draw.
6. Russell Moccasin Camp Mocs:  There are camp mocs, and there are CAMP MOCS.  Russells are top shelf, and Sue and Co. will make them for you in any leather you want.  Get creative!
7. Peter Millar Crown Club Swimsuit:  A cool solid for a solid day.
8. W.Kleinburg Red Alligator Belt:  If there’s ever a time to wear a red belt, it’s the Fourth of July.  And gator…yep.
9. Sid Mashburn Canvas Shorts:  My favorite shorts on the market in faded Navy blue.  Perfection.
10. Lawn Chair USA Chair:  Gotta have somewhere to sit.  Might as well make it comfortable.
11. Yeti 45:  Gotta have a footrest, and storage for all the necessities.
