And the hits just keep on coming… Tecovas just released their latest set of boots: the Johnny and the Shane in Mocha suede. The Johnny is the more traditional cowboy boot, with a higher heel and stitching on the top, and the Shane is the roper – lower heel and a clean top.
Suede boots are a seriously cool look. Very ‘Ralph Lauren’ if you dig that sort of thing. They can be worn just like any other boots, with jeans, khakis, or 5-pockets, and the rich suede gives them some sophistication and some depth. In terms of care, I would avoid any situations where Mother Nature is at her worse. These are water and stain repellant, but as with anything, be careful.
We all know the price point of Tecovas gives them a very high value proposition, so adding a second (or third) pair to your rotation doesn’t require a second mortgage. What say you? You digging the suede?

I would love to pick up one or two pairs of Tecovas but need them to offer some other sole options – the leather sole just doesn’t hold up in Seattle weather.
