Labor Day: Weber Grill Restoration

I hope all of you are taking some time today to chill out and relax. It’s been a long, strange year.

Our Labor Day is going to be spent at the pool, taking advantage of as much fun in the sun as possible until they shut it down (too early!).  And we’ll be enjoying some grilled meat for dinner…depending on how many Transfusions/Sandwedges/Miller Lites are consumed, it’ll be steak or burgers.  Is there anything more ‘Labor Day’ than grilling??

I recently took possession of a pretty old Weber 22″ charcoal grill from a buddy who moved back to Raleigh.  It’s in good shape but needs some work.  I’ve been researching what I need to do and came across this video…it’s absolutely amazing.  This is the inspiration I’m looking for.  I’ll do a ‘before and after’ but for now, the standard has been set pretty high:

Happy Labor Day, folks!

This is awesome. There is something therapeutic about being something restored.
