And here we go…it’s SEC Championship Weekend. For all the Bama fans coming over – I’m sure they’ll stop at Buc-ee’s and buy a new windsuit for the game to complete that oh-so Bama look. You can hear them swishing around the Benz from a mile away. For the Dawgs, it’s party time. Not for what’s going to happen at the game (the Dawgs win by 20), but for AFTER, when it’ll be PARTY TIME in ATL.
The 4PM kickoff is perfect for a ~7:30 departure straight up Northside to Howell Mill: to your favorite dinner spot (Marcel), then next door to get the night going with some fun and games (Ormsby’s), then about 100 yards south for complete and utter debauchery (Northside Tavern). There will be plenty of barking, calling the Dawgs, and “S-E-C” chants, so look good while doing it:
From Top Left:
1. H&B X PMGN Banner Year Cashmere Blend Sweater: Wearing cashmere to a college football game is a move. A move that I completely endorse.
2. Red Bulldog Hat from Sea Island: I love the collaboration between UGA and Sea Island. It makes sense and makes for some really cool hats.
3. Proper Cloth Red Pinstripe Dress Shirt: Red and white pinstripe is an underused look. Time to put it back into the rotation.
4. Peter Millar Sand Washed Denim Pants: It’s going to be chilly on Saturday, so dress accordingly.
5. Blair’s Belts Red Glazed Candler Alligator Belt: Add a little flare to your get-up.
6. All Red G-Shock: For my man PB, who bought one of these after it was featured here a few weeks back. He hasn’t taken it off since.
7. RM Williams Chocolate Suede Chelsea Boots: Looking good at the Benz and on the dance floor at Northside Tavern.
Go Dawgs!
I do love this post and genuinely hope the Dawgs humiliate Bama. That aside, no Buc-ee’s criticism can be tolerated.
Yes you can criticize Buc-ee’s. It’s owned by Aggies. Word is that one of those dumb Bowie knives will soon cost $75 million. Hook’em!
