Judging by what I’ve seen on the Instagram and comments to posts, the demand for Masters gear is still strong, but the exclusivity of the logo seems to be waning. This is the first year in as long as I can remember that I haven’t asked any Patron to grab me something from the Merch Tent.
With that said, there are some vintage Masters jewels on Ebay for VERY digestable prices. Almost no mark up. And much higher ‘style’. Here are some examples of the choice nugs:
(Above) ORIGINAL dated hats – the only way to fly…
The old Slazenger pullovers are fantastic:

Original ribbon belts:
The old Masters visors were made by Texace, which are and will forever be the best Tour Visors out there. Good and high:

These folding chairs are absolutely killer. We have a few and use them ALL THE TIME…

What did I miss?
Still have a green Masters Tour Visor from the nineties. My biggest frustration is I had the very fortunate opportunity to go in the actual Augusta National Pro Shop during the 1989 Masters. I was able to buy gear that had the Augusta National logo rather than the Masters logo and bought a green Augusta National bucket hat that I loved, but someone stole it from me during college in Boulder, CO.
All I can say is, karma will get you one day (if it hasn’t already), whoever you are.
I was there twice this week. You just don’t see the traditional items like cotton cashmere sweaters v neck or vest. More trendy prints which are okay but one is enough. No rain jackets like the use to have.
Once found a ball marker in a button bin at a Colorado thrift store. My first Masters treasure.
