For Dad: The 2026 RCS Father’s Day Gift Guide

I’ve gotten a lot of questions about Father’s Day gifts from guys looking for ideas and from wives looking for inspiration. I’m happy to help.

While the gift isn’t the best part of Father’s Day, it’s definitely a good part. Sure: sleep in a little, wrestle with your kids, sneak in a fishing trip or a round of golf, maybe catch the Braves in the afternoon sun. It’s your day, dads. You’ve earned it.  But a thoughtful gift? That’s a nice exclamation point.

Here are a few ideas I’m really digging this year:

From top left:

1. Holderness & Bourne MacDonald Polo:  Every dad needs a great Navy blue polo, and the H&B tech option is just about the best on the market.
2. Miir Water Bottle:  A smart option – just the right size for the cup holder, and to fit in dad’s work bag.  Stay hydrated.
3. Braves Tickets:  Who doesn’t love a Braves game?  Grab some tickets for a trip to Truist.  Doesn’t matter who they play.  It’s the best live sports experience in Atlanta.
4. Secret Society Abstract Tie:  He’s got plenty of banker ties in his closet…add something fun.  Mom will notice.
5. SOG M113 Flashlight:  In case he needs to send Morse Code to someone on the moon.  This sucker is BRIGHT.
6. Turtlebox America Ranger:  Believe it or not, the America edition will make Van Halen sound even LOUDER.
7. Titleist Vokey SM11 Wedge:  I’m sure he’s complained about his wedge play.  Take the excuse of ‘old clubs’ out of the vocabulary.
8. Sid Mashburn Madras Popover Shirt:  Don’t sleep on madras.  Don’t sleep on short sleeves.  And don’t sleep on popovers.  Immediately his “going out” shirt for the Summer.
9. Abu Garcia Zata Spinning Reel:  The colorway is a little Star Trek, but I’ve been using the Zata reels for a while, and I absolutely love them.
10. Emerger Cache Side Bag:  For serious fly fishermen.  The type of bag he’ll pass down to you when the time is right (with plenty of patina).
11. Benchmade Bugout Knife:  There’s always room for another (great) knife.  And these are top shelf.
12. Jacob Hill Tan Caiman Belt:  That tan hits just right…perfect for Spring and Summer with white golf shoes, light suede loafers, and office-appropriate sneakers.  And the price is just right…
13. PLAY DEAD App Subscription:  I signed up a month ago and listen to it ALL THE TIME.  It’s exactly what any Dead fan needs…and Carplay picks it up too.
14. Whoop Subscription:  Mrs. RCS gave this to me three years ago, and I love it.  I can honestly say that it has improved my health quite a bit.
15. Rugged Road 65 Cooler:  Big time dads need big time coolers.  This is it.
16. Adidas Slides:  For the cool dad…at the pool.
17. I-SEA San O Sunglasses:  I recently came to know these guy while down in Watercolor, and have been wearing mine non-stop.  And for $38 a pair??  Worth it.

What did I miss?

Maybe you could do a separate post on it, but I’d be curious as to how you feel the WHOOP has improved your health. I know that a lot of people like wearables and collecting the data on them, but I’d be curious as to what sort of actionable changes you have made/continue to make as a result of that information.
