PMGN Look: Dawgs in Arkansas

And just like that…we’re back, baby.

UGA has looked outstanding over the last two weeks, and while some might scoff at the level of competition, I’m much more interested in how polished every aspect of this team looks. The offense is clicking. The line is hitting its assignments. The receivers are catching the football. Gunner looks like Gunner. And maybe most importantly, everyone has stayed healthy.

This weekend, however, isn’t a cakewalk. Any SEC road game presents a challenge, and Arkansas isn’t a bad football team. At all. They have every ability to jump up and bite, especially at home. This is one of those games where Georgia needs to show up, handle its business, and get out of there with a win.

For the look, I’m recommending a little “first day of school” action. It’s still warm, but we’re far enough into September that I’m ready to start dressing like fall is actually coming. And this year, I’m leaning much more heavily into comfortable, natural fibers. Cotton polos, well-made shorts, good accessories…the kind of stuff that gets better the more you wear it.

Nothing overly complicated. Nothing too technical. Just good clothes that look like you actually thought about getting dressed.

Here’s how to do it:

From top left:

1. Gresham Reed Red & White Striped Cotton Polo:  I’ve been wearing GRs for a couple of seasons now, and love where they land: as comfortable as your softest T-shirt (Pima), and a more structured collar for a dressier look.  Perfect for gameday.
2. Sea Island UGA Hat:  Elite pro shop buy.
3. Rolex GMT:  You can jingle your wrist on the way out…tell ’em what time it is.
4. Garrett Leight Hampton Sunglasses:  A nice upgrade to your shades rotation.  Garrett Leight makes some of the best sunglasses out there.  Their versatility is what wins: wear them to the game, on the course, or out to dinner with a sport coat.  High ROI.
5. La Matera Mendoza Belt:  Non-cartoon-y, but still fun.  These belts give your outfit some character.
6. Pennbilt 7″ Club Shorts:  My favorite cotton shorts on the market.  The cotton is so good…they actually perform like tech shorts, but they aren’t.  Try a pair, and you’ll see what I mean.
7. Saucony Shadow 6000 Running Shoes:  Cooler than cool.  Ice cold.
